Eugene Delacroix was born April 26, 1798 in Charenton-Saint-Maurice (Seine) and died in Paris August 13, 1863. It is a painter major movement Romantic appeared in France early nineteenth e century.

The Liberty Leading the People is an oil painting of Eugene Delacroix made 1830, inspired by the revolution Three Glorious . Presented to the public at the Paris Salon of 1831, the work is transferred from the Musée du Luxembourg (where she was exposed from 1863) at Louvre in 1874. By its appearance and its political allegory, it has frequently been chosen as a symbol of French Republic or democracy.
's work impressive enough (325 cm x 260 cm) was conducted between October and December 1830. The scene takes place in Paris, as indicated by the towers of Notre-Dame smoke emerging from the plane.
